Stefanie Summers, Lead LVT

Stefanie graduated from Northern Virginia Community College in May of 2000 with her AAS in Veterinary Technology. She obtained her license to practice as a veterinary technician in August of 2000. Stefanie has many years of experience as an anesthesia nurse and critical care technician. In addition, she spent six years as a technical lead for an advanced imaging company where she performed MRI and CT scans, managed staff, and assisted with opening three additional imaging facilities. After a three-year hiatus in the United Kingdom, Stefanie returned to Virginia and began her career in veterinary ophthalmology.

She lives in Winchester with her two sons, Seth and Meade, and her daughter, Easton. Stefanie and her children share their home with Kaya, an American Staffordshire Terrier, Josie, a Jack Russell Terrier, and a kitty named Carlos. In her free time she enjoys gardening, reading, hunting, fishing, and working out at the gym.


Shannon Robinson, LVT

Shannon earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Wildlife Biology from the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry in 2000. She began her veterinary career in general practice with small animal and exotic patients. Shannon earned her Associate of Science degree in Veterinary Technology from Cedar Valley College in 2013 and became a licensed veterinary technician. She focused her skills in staff development, laboratory procedures, anesthesia, and senior/geriatric medicine.

Originally from upstate New York, Shannon moved to Northern Virginia with her husband in 2003.  She has a German shorthaired pointer named Cabella.  In her free time she enjoys exploring the outdoors, hiking, kayaking, and camping.
